After living in the U.S for a few years, traveling home to The Bahamas always has a tropical feeling on me! This summer, coming home for my friends Nikita and Christina's amazing Bahamas wedding was definitely worth the trip.

Just a few days before the wedding, Chrissy and I did this beach photo shoot together, shot by her husband Nikita. Because we're from The Bahamas, we decided that coming home and shooting together would be the perfect opportunity for a tropical shoot.

Chrissy and I live in two different states away from each other, having a photo shoot together was something we always wished could happen. "And so it did."

Christina has been doing an amazing job at managing my brand ever since I decided to take it public. From Instagram, to Facebook, and even this blog, she's been doing more than an awesome job of creating a great representation of myself and her business christinadarvillestudios.

Can we say YES to the glow the sun was shining on us that day?!

The idea behind the look was to take swimsuit and pair it with something fashionable. With our goal of still having that "island gal" look, after much searching and inspiration, the idea to pair the swimsuit with a blazer and head scarf was our final decision. Although the location was unknown while planning, we trusted that even if we took the photos in some random place, it would still work.

Did I forget to mention how much fun it was?!
